Hinckley’s Picnic Boat Classic combines traditional aesthetics in her beautiful lines and stunning craftsmanship with modern design and materials.  MURPHY GIRL’s thoughtful features and appointments, including shallow waterjet draft, easy and intuitive JetStick control system, and custom seating and tables make her well equipped for effortless and elegant entertaining, day cruising, or weekending.  She features an open and comfortable pilothouse and cockpit, with ample deck space and seating.  Below in the air-conditioned cabin she sleeps two comfortably and offers amenities including galley and head with shower.

Construction:

• Hull is Kevlar E-glass hybrid and balsa core, SCRIMPed with vinylester resin

• Marelon ball-valve seacocks with thru-hulls below water line and Marelon thru-hulls above the waterline

MURPHY GIRL’s interior provides comfortable accommodations for two, has a separate head with shower, and a galley.  The interior is finished in satin-varnished cherry, including sheathing. The cabin sole is varnished teak & holly.

Next aft of the hanging locker to starboard is a private head with a solid cherry door.

GALLEY (Port)

The Galley is to port with an off white Formica countertop that has a stainless steel sink with Grohe fixture and hot and cold pressure water.  The two-burner propane stove is set in the countertop forward.  The Adler Barber refrigeration is mounted aft of the sink and is accessed by a lift-up top.  A “pantry” locker with louvered door and interior shelves and a flip-up fiddled top separates the galley from the V-berth area.  Additional storage located under the galley sink.
