Vessel Walkthrough
From a floating dock, boarding is vey easy via the swim platform and through the transom gate into the cockpit area. There are 3 entryways into the yacht: through 2 sliding doors on either side of the main salon, or through a "hatch door" on top of the aft cabin trunk into the salon. This 3rd entry makes getting from one helm station to the other a snap! Once in the salon, there is a large "L-Shaped" settee aft to port which has the rare "hide-a-bed" feature to create a double berth. Also in this area is a large movable glass cocktail table, with the entertainment center and barrel chair directly across to starboard. Note in the photographs that the Samsung TV swivels up and hangs out of view when not being used. Forward to starboard is the lower helm station with a pedestal-style helm seat, a full suite of electronics, sliding door for easy access to the deck, and an aft-facing camera display. Opposite the lower station is a beautiful granite "breakfast counter" with two stool seats (storage inside), and another sliding door giving Captain and crew easy access to the decks.
Moving forward and down is the galley to port with dinette to starboard. The galley features a matching granite countertop with large sink, relatively new Avanti refrigerator/freezer and Frigidaire microwave, Princess 3-burner electric stovetop with oven, and plenty of countertop space. Storage is abundant, and is more than suitable for long-term cruising. Opposite is the convertible dinette which seats 4 for dining, and 2 for sleeping if needed.
Moving forward still is the guest stateroom which features two wide berths on either side, hanging locker, drawer storage, overhead hatch, portlights on both sides, separate Air Conditioning, a tremendous amount of storage beneath both berths, and a private head. This head is a "wet head" on most sisterships, but "II Freedom II" was never fully plumbed for showering in this space. (shower drain exists below the removable carpet, but there is no shower head installed curently).
Moving back aft through the salon, the master stateroom is aft and down. The master features a centerline queen berth, large hanging locker, multiple drawers, a vanity with stool and bright lighting, separate Air Conditioning system, and private head with stall shower. There is plenty of natural lighting available when wanted, as well as complete privacy via the heavy blinds.
Walking back forward up into the salon (which has its own Air Conditioning system), there is a short staircase aft and to starboard that leads out through the "hatch door" onto the upper aft deck. On this deck is easy access forward and up a couple of steps to the flybridge, as well as a dingy bracket, dingy, and electric davit, large dock box, and high rails for safety in transit.
The flybridge has plenty of room for entertaining or dining, and offers the Captain an incredible vantage point from which to pilot the yacht. The centerline helm has a full compliment of electronics for navigation, and there is plenty of storage in two large lockers beneath the brow. Aft to port is large "L-Shaped" settee with storage beneath, and a custom-made cocktail table for dining or entertaining. Also mounted on the flybridge is a "Frigid Rigid" cooler that also offers additional seating. Shade is provided by a relatively new (2019) Sunbrella bimini top.
Finally, the engine room. This space is accessed beneath the steps that lead from the salon forward to the galley/dinette area. The forward section of the engine space is more like a "pump room", and houses the hot water heater, fresh water pump, and forward head equipment. The aft section is the main engine room. The 2008 Cummins engines are still shiny and clean, all equipment is easily accessible, and there is PLENTY of room to get around for maintenance. There is plenty of storage as well. The generator is located in the cockpit lazarette and is protected by a sound shield as well as a hatch cover with excellent draining capabilities.
